We, Holiday Inn Express Durban-Umhlanga, are a client of S&A Generators, and have been making use of their services since 2021. We are a 234 bedroom hotel, with a 550KVA, which is serviced by S&A Generators.
The service received from S&A Generators is of the highest standard, which includes detailed reports after each minor and major service. The technicians are readily available to provide additional feedback, should concerns arise. Turn around time from initial requests for assistance, to technicians been on site, is of an acceptable standard.
In the event of after hours call outs, these are handled with the utmost urgency, to ensure our hotel is attended too.

The Merhold Property Trust has used the services of S&A Generator (SAGEN) services for a number years at three sites. They provided initial installation services at two sites. Thereafter, service contracts were in place to provide maintenance to the generators. The upcoming services were notified ahead of time to allow adequate time to plan accordingly. Comprehensive service reports are provided, also noting any remedial work required to ensure reduced future downtime.
The true test is when the generator is not operational for whatever reason, Sagen have made every effort to deal with break downs speedily and ensured that power is restored. The office staff have always been very accommodating and provide quotes for repair and scheduling of repair work.
Our generators are well maintained and fully operational for which credit must go to SAGEN. We would therefore recommend SAGEN to any company wishing to avail themselves of their services.
